Kentucky DB Blake McClain Proves Wildcats Football is No Joke [VIDEO]

Kentucky is not supposed to be good at football. The Wildcats are a basketball school. They are supposed to be an easy win on the schedule--not threaten to take down the No. 1 team in the nation in a rather exciting, hard-hitting, action packed game.

That is exactly what it was and the Wildcats made that clear early on when Blake McClain made Mississippi State wide receiver Joe Morrow wish he had taken up sailing instead of football.

Mississippi State ended up winning in the end 45-31, but they were pushed pretty hard by Kentucky along the way. So while the game ended in a loss for the Wildcats it did show the world one thing.

There is more than just basketball to Kentucky now.
