Tampa Bay Rays 3B Evan Longoria Was Worried About Bengals RB Giovanni Bernard After Hit By Vontae Davis

If you live in the Indianapolis or Cincinnati areas you might have heard a loud "ooohhh!" or maybe "daammnnn!" around the time the Colts-Bengals game was on. Why you ask? Because Colts defensive back Vontae David laid a hit on Bengals running back Giovanni Bernard that was so hard (and completely legal) that his unborn grandchildren felt the pain.

It was pretty brutal (see below). Apparently it was so brutal that Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria felt the need to take to Twitter to express his concern.

Whether it's because he and Bernard are buddies, Bernard is his fantasy running back, or just out of concern for his fellow man and another professional athlete is a mystery.

Either way we understand Evan. It was brutal man.
