WATCH: Dallas Cowboys OL Tyron Smith Toss Saints DE Cameron Jordan Like a Rag Doll

Over the last few seasons the Dallas Cowboys have been smart on draft day. Rather than get sucked in by the sexy statistical monster of the last college season they have been drafting arguably the most important people of a successful offense with their first pick--offensive lineman. This season the 'Boys have three first round picks starting on the line--tackle Tyron Smith, center Travis Frederick, and guard Zach Martin.

If the current season--and the GIF below--are any indicaton it might be paying off.

It doesn't matter how good your running back is if there are no holes for him to run through (with the exception of Barry Sanders of course). Dallas fans are all too aware of the number of hits Tony Romo has taken over the last few years.

This season the Cowboys have the No, 1 rushing offense in the league. So far Romo is on pace to be sacked 32 times; just three off of last year's total, but as teams focus more and more on stopping DeMarco Murray that rate will likely decrease.

So good job Jerry. Whoever you are letting call the shots on draft is doing a decent job.
