Houston Rockets Make a Little History in Win over San Antonio Spurs Thursday Night

The Houston Rockets got what they wanted out of Year One of the Dwight Howard Experience--a playoff bid. They would have loved to have gone deeper in to the post season, but for a change they were not scrambling with hopes of nabbing the No. 8 spot. So even though it cost a bundle D12 in the gain was slight last season.

But now the core has been together for a full season, full off-season, and training camp. The work is not so much about growing accustomed to each other and learning how to play together, It's about getting better.

So far so good. Six games in to Year Two of the Dwight Howard Experience finds the Rockets sitting pretty at 6-0 after taking down the defending champions Thursday night, 98-81.

However, they are not off to just any old 6-0 start. No, they are off to a record setting one:

Okay, so it is the kind of record we would never know about if we didn't have people whose job is to discover obscure facts like this, but that doesn't take away from truth.

Houston is undefeated. Go Rockets!
