But if he can play like he has been when the Hurricanes take on Florida State Saturday the right people will notice--NFL scouts.

For the first time this season the team is going to be featured on the national stage in prime time for all the world to see. What better way to announce your presence to the world than by running wild on the defending national champs?
Of course the question fans will be looking forward to having answered is whether he can. Florida State's defense is good overall (No. 50) and not bad against the run (No. 35). Coincidentally, he happens to average close to what the Seminoles defense gives up (134.8 and 135.7).
It can be difficult to project whether a running back will be able to perform against a defense in the college ranks since the level of competition (or lack thereof) can make a team look better or worse at something than it really is.
So--can he do it? Can he lead the Hurricanes to victory over the Seminoles?
Vegas seems to think this is going to be a close one (FSU favored by 1.5 points). It is not because of the team's passing attack (237.6 yards a game), but it's defense and running game.
If Johnson can keep Winston off the field in the second half by running like he has in many other games this season FSU's 25-game winning streak will be coming to an end.
