WATCH: Indiana RB Tevin Coleman Runs Blazing Fast 40-Yard Dash During Pro Day

When it comes to varsity sports and the Indiana Hoosiers football does not come to mind for too many people. Typically folks think basketball and that is about it. However, the team has had a heck of a talent at running back in Tevin Coleman. After turning heads with a 2000+ yard effort during the regular season teams were looking forward to seeing him workout at the Combine.

An injury kept him from doing anything at the Combine, but representatives from all 32 teams were on hand during IU's Pro Day Wednesday to see what Coleman could do.

In a nut shell--he didn't disappoint. The highlight of hid day was his 40-yard dash which came in at somewhere between a 4.35 and a 4.4 depending on who you talk to. Either way it would have made him the fastest running back at the Combine (Michigan State's Jeremy Langford had a 4.42).

Will his body of work and combine workout be enough to give the Hoosiers their first first round pick in 20 years (Thomas Lewis, 1994, New York Giants)? Maybe. It all depends on how concerned teams are over his injury history and whether he can learn to be a little more patient and allow so lanes/holes can develop.

If he doesn't there is no way he makes it out of the second round.
