Clippers Donate $47,200 to LA Children's Hospital As Part of 3-Point Play Program

The dream of playing for an NBA championship may be done for the Los Angeles Clippers this season, but that does not mean they can't help make the dreams come true for some of their younger fans--specifically the ones needing the services of the LA Children's Hospital. As part of the 3-Point Play Program the team pledged to donate $50 for every shot made behind the arc this season.

With 827 made during the regular season and another 117 during the post season their grand total came out to 944 three-pointers. Over 104,000 children are treated in the LA Children's Hospital every year so it will be money well spent.
