WATCH: Pittsburgh Pirates Turn First 4-5-4 Triple Play in Recorded History

The hard part about saying something has never been done before is that we have to trust what records we have that whatever it is has not been overlooked. So since the record books tell us that there has never been a 4-5-4 triple play unless someone else has proof we have to assume that the Pittsburgh Pirates recorded the first one against the Cardinals.

It started with Neil Walker snagging a Yadier Molina line drive out of the air followed by a throw to Jung Ho Kang at third who promptly returned it to Walker while he was standing on second.
