It would sure help the level of fan frustration if they could at least get the easy calls right, and let the guys play when they should. That certainly didn't happen when Stefon Diggs was hit with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for spinning the ball.

The No Fun League strikes again!

Taunting, spun it at the opposing player. Good call. Why spin it after a 12 yard gain? Hand it to Ref, good back to huddle. Act like you've been there.
ReplyDeleteNo need to spin after a first down, but I don't think he intended to spin it at the player on the ground. If that was the logic the ref used I can see it.
DeleteAgree Travis. Love Diggs' passion but he's quite cocky for a rookie and his antics will hurt more than help. Just play well, the accolades will come.
DeleteRIDICULOUS! It was obvious that he intended no disrespect to any opposing player -- he was just celebrating his own play. He is in no way "cocky" whether for a rookie or not.
ReplyDeleteDisagree. Anytime he makes a catch he "celebrates" too much. Again, I'm a lifelong Vikings fan and i love his skills. I just think he needs to make plays and head back to the huddle. In this case spinning the ball at the other play cost us yardage.
DeleteStop anything that will cause you a penalty. Just play ball and celebrate the win. GO VIKES.
